The fall seminar invites students to explore what it means to be successful both in college and beyond. Students will understand what it takes to be a great student both now and into the future. With a focus on social integration, networking, and relationship development, students will develop the awareness, knowledge, skills, and actions that fosters success both inside and outside the classroom.
Students will reflect on their values, strengths, and goals—taking ownership of their learning and shaping a college experience that aligns with who they are and who they want to become. Students learn from one another through self-reflection, group conversation, Hands-on projects, thoughtful discussions, and goal-driven activities related to their experiences as first-generation college students to support in building confidence, direction, and purpose.
