Peer mentors are current students who provide a unique perspective on the college transition and assist with strategies for your social and academic success. The peer mentors are students who participated in their First Gen Hawks and successfully completed their First Year will help in first-year seminars and provide additional support outside of class to connect with resources, answer questions, and meet other students.

Students are matched with peer mentors based on shared interests, academic goals, and personal preferences to ensure a supportive and effective mentoring relationship.

“My peer mentor is always ready to help me and just wants to see me succeed academically.”
