I have an undergrad degree in physics as premed student. I have interest in philosophy. I did physics to know the building blocks of the universe :) After that I entered med school and then did neurology. Life takes you in many directions/and you also surprise yourself and take it in many directions. Even if you think you got life figured out, you may be surprised (always pleasantly).
