I am an associate professor of instruction. I was the Director of the Online Graduate Program in Business Analytics at the Tippie College of Business, University of Iowa. With a background in Operations Management and a passion for education, I work to support students as they develop technical, analytical, and strategic thinking skills for careers in the evolving field of business analytics. I have written a textbook on Management Science and am currently writing one on Artificial Intelligence in Business. I offer expertise in leadership and advanced technical skills in data analytics, artificial intelligence applications, and optimization. I am particularly interested in helping students navigate challenges in balancing academics, career development, and personal growth, especially first-generation students who may need additional support transitioning to university life. I have substantial global experience having taught on five continents. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, writing, and camping in my Airstream camper, the "Daystream Believer." I am also an avid board game enthusiast and enjoy creating whimsical stories and poems. I enjoy helping students reach their full potential.
