Biography

I am an associate professor of instruction in the department of biomedical engineering at the University of Iowa. I started working for the university in 2015 after spending 10 years working in industry with Siemens Healthineers in the U.S., Germany, and Israel. I received my PhD from the University of Iowa in 2005. I first came to the U.S. in 1996 as a Fulbright Scholar from Palestine. I look forward to working with and supporting 1st-Gen students.
