I’m a Social Work grad student at the University of Iowa, working as an Engagement Advisor and a TA for Intro to Criminology. My background is in teaching, student support, and research on student engagement, especially for first-gen and language minority students. I love helping students navigate college life—whether it’s study skills, time management, finding leadership opportunities, or just figuring out where to start. Outside of school, I’m into language learning, learning in general, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and racquetball. As someone who has struggled to find acceptance in higher education, I know how important it is to have spaces where you feel like you belong, and I’m always happy to help however I can.
