Hello! While I was not a first-generation student, much of my professional career has focused on supporting first generation college students. I have worked to advise/guide both rural and urban first generation students through positions with AmeriCorps, TRIO Student Support Services, and various other roles. I'm originally from a small town outside of Columbus, OH, and went 9 hours away to attend college before returning to my home state for graduate school. I moved to Iowa about 4 years ago and have worked at a variety of schools since. I'm excited to help you navigate Iowa and achieve your goals!
