I am an admissions counselor in the Office of Admissions. I work with students as they prepare to be Hawkeyes, but am happy to meet with current students as well! I am a first Gen student, first getting my undergrad in Social Work and later getting my Master's in School Counseling. I was a high school counselor for over 10 years before working in higher ed at the University of Iowa. I'm happy to be of assistance to students as they navigate the college-going process and career planning. When I'm not at work, I'm attending my children's activities. I also enjoy camping, hiking, and scrapbooking.
