Biography

During my first week as a university student, I walked into a lecture hall and realized that it was big enough to hold all the people in my hometown at the same time. A few weeks later when I got my first test back in that class, I saw that it had the lowest grade I had ever received on any schoolwork that I had ever done. It was a rough start. Being a student at that university was a great experience that gave me lots of opportunities, but I also felt like I had to spend a lot of time finding my way around, literally (it was a big campus) and educationally – things like how to study effectively, how to decide on a major, even just how to find out what the opportunities were. I have been either studying or working at universities ever since then, and I will always be glad to help students who are figuring out how to navigate their way through college.
