Associate Director, Curriculum and Instruction, CLAS UP
Biography

I serve as the Associate Director for Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Programs. When departments want to create new majors, minors, or certificates, change the requirements or policies for the programs they already have, or change anything else related to curriculum, I help them make it happen. I also make sure CLAS courses and programs follow College policies, so even though you can study a wide range of subjects in CLAS, the steps you take to complete a degree are pretty consistent across fields.

I’m happy to talk with students about writing, graduate school (I have an MA and a PhD in English), career paths in higher education, aligning your work and school plans with your values, improving your study strategies and time management (especially for students with ADHD), and anything you have questions about. In my free time, I read, write, volunteer, and play the piano and the drums (so I’m also happy to talk about music).
