I serve as the Director for the Office of Student Learning (OSL)  at the University of Iowa and have been a part of the team since January 2019. In my role, I support the OSL team in creating opportunities for students to experience positive learning environments and find academic success at Iowa. I oversee centralized academic support programs, including the Supplemental Instruction (SI) program in the Academic Resource Center (ARC), the Peer Led Undergraduate Study (PLUS) course, and the Learning Assistants (LA) program, as well as other academic resources for students, such as Tutor Iowa and Academic Success Workshops. Through my role I’ve had the pleasure of working and growing with many first-generation college students! I enjoy supporting students as they navigate through the complex system that is higher education and can provide guidance when it comes to academic success. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll help you find someone who does!

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, son, and dog! I love being outdoors, doing group fitness classes, singing and dancing in my living room with my son, and simply spending time with friends and family!
