I am passionate about supporting First Gen students because I know what it is like to navigate college without the same knowledge as your peers. I currently work as the Assistant Director of Leadership Development in the College of Engineering and have worked hard in this role to celebrate and lift up First Generation college students. I am from the Iowa area but spent a significant amount of time in Texas for Graduate school and my first couple of full time jobs. I am an inclusive individual, an ally, and am ready and willing to be a mentor for whoever might need it!
