Hello! I am an academic advisor at the University of Iowa, and I primarily work with students in the social sciences, humanities, pre-business, pre-professional health sciences, and open majors. I can help you discuss majors and careers, as well as navigating the university. In college, I studied sports business, but realized I loved working with college students and then shifted my academic and professional focus. I moved to Iowa about 6 years ago and have worked at a variety of schools since. While I was not a first-generation student, much of my professional career has focused on supporting first generation college students during my time with AmeriCorps and TRIO.
