I've worked in academic administration almost my entire adult life, and I'm well aware of the barriers that can arise for all students, but particularly first-gen and international students. I specialize in demystifying academic structures, language, and processes for the students I serve. While I was not a first-gen or low SES student in college, I share some background traits with them (working multiple jobs, independent navigation of academic choices, etc.)
