Alicia R. Ambler is an Associate Professor of Instruction teaching in the Frank Business Communication Center. She is a student-focused educator with two decades of higher education experience teaching academic communication skills at pre-matriculation, undergraduate, and graduate levels. She is highly experienced in curriculum and assessment design and delivery. Focus areas include evidence-based teaching methods, presentation skills, classroom community building, academic honesty, clarity and flexibility in expression, metacognition, and academic and business culture. A first-generation student herself, Professor Ambler is always interested to connect with first-gen students on campus.
