I am an academic advisor for the Social Work, Criminology and African American studies majors. I use a holistic approach while working with advisees on short and long-term planning, registration, and graduation (and beyond). I am here for students who are interested in learning strategies for achieving work/life balance, success during undergraduate studies and beyond, and/or students who need someone to listen to them. I was a first-gen/non-traditional student during my undergraduate career at the University of Iowa. I have a deep love for the Golden Girls and Beyoncé. I love to travel, read, and learn new things.
