I am a professor and director of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Iowa. In my role as director of SJMC, I work with faculty, students and staff in our department and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. I’m here to connect with students who have questions about adjusting to life at college, exploring career and professional opportunities, or simply need someone to talk to or listen. In my free time, I enjoy watching all kinds of basketball, including my daughter’s youth team, the Iowa women, and the Boston Celtics.
