In my role as Assistant Curator of Student Engagement at the Stanley Museum of Art, I develop and implement student-focused programming and engagement initiatives. I manage our front-of-house team of gallery hosts (student employees) who welcome and orient all guests to the museum and supervise an intern (the Campus Engagement Coordinator) who works with me to create monthly events for UI students. I'm happy to connect with students who have a general interest in the arts and/or museums, and I welcome conversations about related degree programs, the art/ museum fields, and student employment, internship, and career opportunities. Beyond that, I was a University of Iowa student pretty recently myself, so I'm willing to meet with any student who needs someone to talk to. Outside of work, I love to cook, read, crochet, paint, and care for my houseplants!
