I moved to Iowa City in 2015 to begin my college career. I received my BFA in Painting from the University of Iowa in 2019, and returned for my BA in Art History, which I completed in December 2021. In April of 2022, I was hired full time at the Stanley Museum of Art, after having worked there in three different student roles for five years. My time at the University of Iowa (both as a student and an employee) has played a pivotal role in my personal growth. I believe that my recent experience as a student here informs how I interact with and work with students of all types (including first generation students). I only hope that I can play a part in helping others have the same great experience I did as a Hawkeye!
