My dad was a first-generation college student, who I had the honor of watching graduate when he was 40 and I was 16. I took a similar path, and my kids became part of my very long college journey. I know that college is a very personal journey...and it is a family journey. I love working with first-generation students and learning about their journeys. I am also a lifelong advocate for people with disabilities.
