I work as the International Education Program and Student Affairs Advisor in the International Student and Scholar Services. My primary work includes supporting international students' engagement and cultural adjustment process, teaching intercultural skills, and contributing to the international education programming efforts. I can connect with students to talk about cultural adjustment, connecting with campus opportunities and resources, leadership skills in intercultural and multinational settings. As a first-generation student studying, living, and working in a different country, I experienced how it was like to navigate a new environment (academically and culturally) on my own. It was because of the people I met during my journey who made me the person I am today, and I would like to pay it forward.
