I am an Iowa City native and a University of Iowa graduate. I have a BA in journalism and Spanish, and have worked in the UI Office of Strategic Communication since 1998. Before that, I worked as a newspaper reporter and a bookseller. I have volunteered as a Critical MASS mentor at Iowa and have completed the Safe Zone Project training. I currently am the mother of three teenagers, including a freshman in college. I love working with students whenever I have the chance and would be honored to hear your story and offer insight and encouragement!
