I am a licensed psychologist and provide group and individual therapy to children, teens and their families. I also conduct psychological evaluations for students having difficulties with learning and understanding in school. As a clinical associate professor, I get to teach and supervise a range of learners including psychiatry fellows, medical students, and graduate students in psychology and social work. I have called Iowa home since 2014 but am originally from Wisconsin and lived in five other states before calling Iowa home! As a first-gen college student and someone who has moved a lot, I can appreciate that a new place takes some time to get used to. For me, navigating the path through undergraduate school and eventually graduate school was both rewarding and overwhelming. I am happy to connect with those trying to navigate the college experience for the first time and what comes next.
