I graduated from the U of I as a first generation college student, then attended the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. I am currently on faculty in Family Medicine, where I teach students and residents, care for patients in clinic, and work as a leadership consultant for the American Board of Family Medicine. I have a large family with lots of children with a wide range of educational experiences.
