I recently joined the University as a financial aid advisor in September 2023 after working as a paralegal at Iowa Legal Aid. I graduated from Grinnell College in 2021 with a BA in Political Science and a concentration in Peace and Conflict Studies. I'm a first-generation working-class student, who has been involved in first-gen organizing and community building all throughout my college career! I attended Grinnell through a scholarship with QuestBridge, a national organization focused on making top colleges more accessible to first-gen and under-represented students. I also love music! - I've played drums since I was 10, playing jazz, rock, concert and orchestral music, and gigged around a little with friends, but I'm a fan of all kinds of genres.
